The elders are working on getting those they are teaching to come to church. Elder Bankole is well liked. God loves you.

Subject: I Know That He Loveth His Children

Hello Everyone!

This week Elder Bankole and I were able to put it some good work and see our people. We are trying to help those we have been teaching come to church. We weren’t able to sit with Kennedy last week but hopefully we will have better luck this week! Things are going on well here. Elder Bankole is doing very well. The members love him as he is a very friendly and likable person.

This week we have a Zone Conference in Accra which should be good but we don’t have any thing else out of the ordinary that I can think of!

Brother Phillip, our investigator, is mostly blind to the point where he struggles to get around and he cannot read. He told us this week how much happier he’s been since he met us and started coming to church.

1 Nephi 11:16-17
16 And he said unto me: Knowest thou the condescension of God?

17 And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things.

I also don’t know the meaning of all things, nor do I need to. But I know that God loves Phillip. I know that God loves all of His children despite our imperfections. I hope that you all will be able to recognize it as I have. I mostly see it in the blessings that He has given me such as my family, the gospel, and my Savior. And if you feel like you need to look harder, don’t worry and know that I love you too. Hope that you all have a great week!

In an email to his mother, speaking further about Phillip, Elder Hall added,

We were able to get a thumb drive with the Book of Mormon on it and also buy a speaker. Our branch president helped a lot! We gave it to him a week ago! He is grateful!
