Three are preparing for baptism next month. Elder Hall gave a talk in church. He talks about trusting in He who can deliver.
This past week Elder Schmanski and I continued to work hard. We will also try to work hard still this week. We are in the last week of the transfer. Stephanie will be baptized this Sunday after church! We are also working with Mary, Ama Mary and her daughter Abigail for November. They have all been coming to church and progressing well!
On Sunday we had a “Missionary Sunday” so I was able to speak. There was a miscommunication on what my topic would be so I actually ended up having to write a new talk Sunday morning. So it wasn’t as long as planned but all the same, it went well.
This week will certainly be trying our best to help more of the members feel of our love and get more involved in missionary work. We will also be helping those we are teaching come closer to their Savior as they prepare to enter into a covenant.
5 And now my son, Shiblon, I would that ye should remember, that as much as ye shall put your trust in God even so much ye shall be delivered out of your trials, and your troubles, and your afflictions, and ye shall be lifted up at the last day.
I know that as we put our trust in He who can deliver-even God, that we truly will have the help that we need to get through this life. Something that my companion likes to say is that “The weakest man with God is stronger than any man without God.” I know that that is very true.
I hope that you all have a great week!
