Celestial City

Elder Hall has had over a week in his new area now. He has his own name for it. This area is Twi speaking unlike his first area which was Ga speaking, so that is new. He has a great companion. He saw one of the 12 Apostles and he was able to attend the temple.

Also, he was finally able to send photos again. There are quite a few here. Some are from his previous area, and some are from this new area. We do not know what is what really.

Subject: Celestial City

Hello everyone!

I have now been in my new area for eleven days, I like to call it Celestial City just cause, it is very nice here. I ran out of time last week so I didn’t write a group email sorry. My new area is kind of like a suburb to Accra but it has dusty dirt roads I’m not a fan of. But it is quiet and does not smell bad like my last area did. The people here speak Twi so I’m an Obruni instead of Brofronyo now. The people are very friendly and make me feel at home. My new companion, Elder Iyip and I don’t have too many people to teach but the people we do have are very sweet and are promising.

I got to see an Apostle, Elder Bednar and go to the temple two weeks ago which was very great! We had Stake Conference this past weekend which was also very good, all of our speakers were very inspired. Especially one of our Area seventies Elder Vinson and his wife (they’re from Australia).
