God is always there to receive us. We have to be willing to come to Him or even come back to Him.

Hello everyone!
This week was pretty good! Elder Bankole and I were able to see most of the people that we’ve been working with. Godwin is doing well but he is actually returning to school so hopefully he will be baptized in July when he returns to the area. Many of our other investigators are having trouble coming to church but we are still working with them along with other less actives that we’ve found.
One less active that has now started coming to church almost every week is Sister Eva. She told us yesterday and you could see that she is a lot happier since she’s been coming back to church. It’s great to see so many people make changes in their lives as they choose to come closer to their God. I know that God is always there to receive us but we have to be willing to soften our hearts and go to him through our repentance. Of course without God and Jesus Christ we couldn’t be saved but we also have to play a role in our own salvation- we have to be willing to come to Him or even come back to Him and I know that those who choose to do so will be happier! They really will be.
Jacob 6:5
5 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, I beseech of you in words of soberness that ye would repent, and come with full purpose of heart, and cleave unto God as he cleaveth unto you. And while his arm of mercy is extended towards you in the light of the day, harden not your hearts.I hope that you all have a great week! Elder Bankole and I will be doing our best to cleave unto God and help others do likewise over here and I hope you all will too.
