Elder Hall’s companion, Elder Krofuah, has finished his two years in the mission field and has gone home. Elder Hall’s new companion is an American, Elder Schmanski. Elder Hall gives us a short lesson about truth and the restored Gospel.

Subject: O Be Wise
Hello everyone!
I hope that you all had a good week! These past few weeks Elder Krofuah and I were able to work hard! Elder Krofuah is now gone though, and I will be receiving my new companion tomorrow. My new companion is Elder Schmanski (not sure how to spell it) who is from the US. I’ve met him several times but I do not know him well but I am excited to receive him tomorrow and to get to be able to work with him! I pray that my new companion and I will be able to work hard to help bless the lives of others and help progress the Lord’s work along.
As missionaries we teach the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. And we try to help others come unto Christ and be blessed.
Jacob 6:5
5 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, I beseech of you in words of soberness that ye would repent, and come with full purpose of heart, and cleave unto God as he cleaveth unto you. And while his arm of mercy is extended towards you in the light of the day, harden not your hearts. We invite a lot of people to listen to and follow our message. We invite a lot of people to come unto Christ — even cleave to Him. Some people do head our voice, but surprisingly a lot of people don’t. A lot of people harden their hearts, and it’s often because they are simply comfortable where they are. Sometimes I ask myself, “Do they not know what we are bringing to them?”
Jacob 6:6
6 Yea, today, if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts; for why will ye die? What we missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints share is not only a nice message: It’s the truth. It will help anyone be saved and not die. It will help anyone come unto God and be embraced in the arms of His love and mercy! Do we as children of God not want that? Are we too comfortable where we are? Are we too comfortable in our sins? No matter how close or how far we are from God let us draw nearer. Let us repent, change and improve. Let us be happy. Let us be saved.
I certainly am trying my best to come unto God. And as I’ve come closer to him and helped others do the same I certainly have felt happier. I still have a lot to improve on but I know that with the help of Jesus Christ that I can do it. I know that anyone can.
Jacob 6:12
12 O be wise; what can I say more?Hope that you all have a great week!
