Traveling can sometimes take a while in Ghana. Phillip is set for his baptism next month. Others are progressing.

Subject: Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord
Hello everyone!
This week was pretty good. We had a Zone Conference on Thursday in Accra which took all day with the travel included. Elder Bankole and I were able to continue to work hard this week. Phillip is doing very well and is looking much happier! Benedicta and Suzy also made it to church which was good! We are still working with Christiana and Kennedy. We also picked up a few more new investigators and are especially excited for Emilia and Rita who we met with separately yesterday. February is upon us and Phillips baptism is scheduled for the 12th, after church.
Alma 9:26-28
26 And not many days hence the Son of God shall come in his glory; and his glory shall be the glory of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace, equity, and truth, full of patience, mercy, and long-suffering, quick to hear the cries of his people and to answer their prayers.27 And behold, he cometh to redeem those who will be baptized unto repentance, through faith on his name.
28 Therefore, prepare ye the way of the Lord, for the time is at hand that all men shall reap a reward of their works, according to that which they have been—if they have been righteous they shall reap the salvation of their souls, according to the power and deliverance of Jesus Christ; and if they have been evil they shall reap the damnation of their souls, according to the power and captivation of the devil.
I hope that I will be ready to receive the Lord when he comes. Of course I must be preparing now and helping others do the same by helping them be baptized unto repentance. I know that as we follow the example of our Savior that we will be able to reap the rewards of our righteousness one day and also that we will enjoy the happiness and peace that comes from keeping the commandments now.
Hope that you all have a great week!
