Subject: Done with Training
Hello everyone!
Sorry that I did not get an email out last week, the network went off.
So I am now two transfers in and done with training! Things are going fine here in Ghana, we baptized our dear sister Paulina the 14th! We don’t have too many people to teach but that okay, we’ll find them and love them!
I will be staying will my companion, Elder Iyip, for this transfer. Elder Ebinum in our apartment is getting transferred the bush, and we will be getting Elder Liongitau to be companions with Elder Ignatius.
So today I just want to share a little about love, which I think would really help the world if we all showed it a little more.
So True to the Faith- a gospel reference says “Love is a feeling of deep devotion, concern, and affection. Love for God and fellow men is a characteristic of disciples of Jesus Christ. We manifest our love for Heavenly Father by keeping His commandments and serving His children. Our expressions of love for others may include being kind to them, listening to them, mourning with them, comforting them, serving them, praying for them, sharing the gospel with them, and being their friend.
Our love for those around us increases when we remember that we are all children of God- that we are spirit brothers and sisters. The love that results from this realization has the power to transcend all boundaries of nation, creed, and color.”Love One Another- A Hymn
As I have loved you,
Love one another.
This new commandment:
Love one another.
By this shall men know
Ye are my disciples,
If ye have love
One to another.“True Christianity is love in action. There is no better way to manifest love for God than to show an unselfish love for your fellow men.” -President David o Mckay
2 Nephi 2:20
20 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.Have a great week! Love you all!
