Happy New Year!

The elders had a great Christmas week. Frank was baptized by Elder Hall. Elder Iyip and Elder Hall were fed very well. Plus they were able to start teaching a former investigator again.

Elder Hall’s email:

Subject: Happy New Year!

Hello everyone!

This past week was great! I hope you all had a great week as well and enjoyed being around your loved ones! This past week Elder Iyip and I were fed very well! It was honestly too much food, but it tasted good! Elder Iyip and I are still seeing some few people, we started seeing Angela again so hopefully we can rekindle her desire to follow Christ.

We also had a baptism this Saturday, we baptized Frank! I got to baptize him, and then both Elder Iyip and I stood in the circle to confirm him a member. I love baptisms! They make me so happy! We should hopefully be having a baptimsal service again in a few weeks.

This is the last week of the transfer so Elder Iyip and I might be sperated but we’ll see!

As the new year starts let us rededicate ourselves to what matters most, even Christ and our families! I know that if we have the desire the Lord will help us and even our hearts can change and we can be better friends and disciples of Christ.

Come, Let Us Anew – A Hymn

1. Come, let us anew our journey pursue,
Roll round with the year,
And never stand still till the Master appear.
His adorable will let us gladly fulfill,
And our talents improve
By the patience of hope and the labor of love,
By the patience of hope and the labor of love.

2. Our life as a dream, our time as a stream
Glide swiftly away,
And the fugitive moment refuses to stay;
For the arrow is flown and the moments are gone.
The millennial year
Presses on to our view, and eternity’s here,
Presses on to our view, and eternity’s here.

3. Oh, that each in the day of His coming may say,
“I have fought my way thru;
I have finished the work thou didst give me to do.”
Oh, that each from his Lord may receive the glad word:
“Well and faithfully done;
Enter into my joy and sit down on my throne;
Enter into my joy and sit down on my throne.”

1 Samuel 16:7
… for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

Hope you all have a great week! Have a happy new year! Love you all!
