Only In and Through the Name of Christ

Elder Schmanski is now with Elder Hall. He is a good teacher. They have taught a lot this week, and many are preparing for baptism. Christ has done so much for us all.

Subject: Only In and Through the Name of Christ

Hello everyone!

This past week I received my new companion, Elder Schmanski. He is a very good man and a good missionary as well! He can teach very well. This week we were able to work hard and fit in a good amount of lessons. Raymond, Jean, Mabel and her two children Josiah and Miriam are set for baptism on the 21st of August. It will on a Sunday, and it will be after church. We are currently trying to find more people to teach that will be prepared for baptism in September because as of right now we have one: Cecilia.

Mosiah 3:6-10
6 And he shall cast out devils, or the evil spirits which dwell in the hearts of the children of men.

7 And lo, he shall suffer temptations, and pain of body,hunger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can suffer, except it be unto death; for behold, blood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his anguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people.

8 And he shall be called Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things from the beginning; and his mother shall be called Mary.

9 And lo, he cometh unto his own, that salvation might come unto the children of men even through faith on his name; and even after all this they shall consider him a man, and say that he hath a devil, and shall scourge him, and shall crucify him.

10 And he shall rise the third day from the dead; and behold, he standeth to judge the world; and behold, all these things are done that a righteous judgment might come upon the children of men.

Jesus Christ has done so much me; He has done so much for us. It’s important that trust in Him and follow Him. We even need to love Him and if we do that then we will be saved. I hope that I will be able to show forth my love for him through my thoughts and actions. I pray that we will all have that desire to Love and serve Him.

Mosiah 3:17
17 And moreover, I say unto you, that there shall be no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come unto the children of men, only in and through the name of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent.
