Easter and New Companion
|
Winifred was baptized! Five more good folks have dates for baptism in April. Easter is here and Elder Hall reflects on his love for Christ. Elder Iyip is being transferred. Both are sad that their companionship is broken, but both are looking forward to continuing their work with new companions. Elder Hall loves Elder Iyip, and Elder Iyip, who communicates with us as well, loves Elder Hall. Even though Elder Hall’s new companion, Elder Tyokolwana, has nearly completed his mission, Elder Hall is to be the senior in the companionship. He is a bit nervous about that, but with the great training he has received from Elders Ndala and Iyip, and the fact that Elder Tyokolwana is quite seasoned himself, there is no doubt he will do very well.

Subject: Easter and New Companion
Hey everyone!
This past week has been pretty good! Elder Iyip and I were able to get out and see the people which was good. We have five people with baptismal dates in April so we will see if we can help them progress towards the gate of baptism and be blessed.
I will be getting a new companion tomorrow. I have been with Elder Iyip for a good few months now and I have throughly enjoyed it and have learned a lot. He’s been great! My new companions name is Elder Tyokolwana from South Africa. I know him already as we serve in the same zone and I have been on exchanges with him before. He’s a good guy and I’m excited to learn from him as well. He has a lot of experience on mission, he has been out for 21 months now.
This week is Easter. I am quite excited and hope you all are as well! The Lord has done so much for me, I love him.
