Philip was baptized! The Gospel has changed him so much. The elders are working with a few others. Missionary work brings joy.

Subject: This Is My Joy

Hello everyone!

This past week was good! Yesterday we witnessed the baptism of our dear Brother Philip Agyapong. We’ve been working with him since the beginning of November last year. It’s great to see the change that has taken place in his life. He is much, much happier now!

We are still working with Brother Kennedy and Sisters Rita, Rose, Rosaline, and Benedicta. We are hoping that they will be able to get answers to their prayers and make it out to church on Sunday. Elder Bankole is doing well and we are enjoying the time that we have here in our area.

Alma 29:9-10
9 I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy.

10 And behold, when I see many of my brethren truly penitent, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember what the Lord has done for me, yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me.

Missionary work is not easy but it really does bring much joy! Especially when you see someone truly penitent coming closer to the Lord!

Hope that you all have a great week!
